Two Pilgrimages in the Same Year

At one bar we passed we were surprised to see a sticker of a place that is familiar to us, because it if of the Japanese island of Shikoku, which is known for its 1500km pilgrimage walk of 88 temples. Earlier this year we walked to 12 of those temples along with many Japanese who spend their holidays doing some or all. I am even now wearing my bracelet of wooden Buddha beads that I bought at the first temple on Shikoku and when we decided that this would be a good year to complete the Camino!

Buddha obviously approves.
