In just one night’s stay, we formed a bond with eccentric
Estella. Its church of San Miguel is home to yet another parishioner amateur
restorer of priceless ecclesiastical art. Not quite hitting the heights of Ecce
Homo Monkey Christ (go on...... Google it!) , an effigy of a weary St. George fighting the dragon has been
turned into a surprised looking Ken doll, who is maybe saying Cor Blimey! at all the explosions
happening on this one night. However, we didn’t actually get to see St. George as
am guessing that after the furore he had been removed to be deKenified.
