The Pirate Ship with Paella

Although we know which town we will be staying in each night and which Casa Rural/Hotel we will be resting our heads at, we have no idea what we may face when we get there. Some places are very basic, and some are utterly fabulous will bells and whistles.

In Estella, we stayed on the main high street in an old townhouse that felt like an upended pirate ship. It was very narrow, all wooden stairs, narrow corridors and dark crevices filled with antiques. As a building it was 5 star eccentric. As a hotel, it earned 5 stars just by having a huge dish of paella sitting on the reception desk.
